Beginning in summer 2015, our League conducted a year-long study of police services and trainings in our five cities. The officer trainings studied were those educating officers to avoid racial profiling and how to handle crises involving people with mental illness and domestic abuse situations.

Florence Sprague, LWV Roseville Area member, has written timely articles about racism and implicit bias. In the February 2016 issue of the Voter, she addressed ways that white people can participate in solutions to the problems in relevent and meaningful ways. To read the article, click here.

The ByLaws of the League of Women Voters - Roseville Area, approved at the June 2, 2020 Annual Meeting,have been updated to reflect the ability to hold annual meetings remotely.  Click here to see the Bylaws.

During a tour of Eureka Recycling, LWV Roseville Area members became better acquainted with Eureka's "zero waste" vision, designating materials reused, recycled, or composted.

Each year LWV Roseville Area holds an evening of Conversation with Constituents, inviting local elected officials to join our members and guests for informal discussion of current topics of import in our communities.
