League members are encouraged to attend any and all meetings of interest to them, and especially those meetings in which the League holds a public policy position. We are monitoring this year voting rights and redistricting, affordable housing, environmental issues, mental health services, policing, and human rights and inclusion. We encourage wearing the LWV button to identify yourself and reporting back to the action/advocacy team (lwvrosevillearea@lwvmn.org) a short summary of points of interest you observed. If you choose to speak on behalf of yourself, please remove your League button, and indicate that it is your own opinion being expressed. Since only the president may speak for League, you may not speak on behalf of League, but you may state the official League position on topics that are applicable. Written positions of the local, state, and national league are available on the respective websites
