Ramsey County has implemented a new voting system effective for the primary election on August 8. Click here to view a short video demonstrating the new system.
Ramsey County elections manager Joe Mansky will speak at the September 6 meeting of the League of Women Voters Roseville Area. The meeting is co-sponsored by the Ramsey County Library. Mansky's talk is titled "All You Ever Wanted to Know About Ramsey County Elections."
Prior to his work with Ramsey County, Mansky was manager of Governor Jesse Ventura's redistricting commission and served as state election director in the Minnesota secretary of state's office for many years.
The meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Roseville Library, 2180 Hamline Ave. N. The event is free and open to the public.

Join us as we celebrate that historic occasion with films about the struggle for votes and about Inez Milholland, one of the most colorful of the early campaigners for women's suffrage. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters - Roseville Area; the Human Rights Commissions of Roseville and Shoreview; and the Harriet G. Walker Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Please join us with a book or two that you might recommend to fellow Leaguers. This is a relaxing way for newer and veteran members to discuss fiction and nonfiction leaving with thought-provoking reading lists!
LWV Roseville Area chapter elected new officers for the 2016-2017 year. Other action items included adoption of new positions following a year-long study of local area police services, adoption of new study on affordable housing.
Each year LWV Roseville Area holds an evening of Conversation with Constituents, inviting local elected officials to join our members and guests for informal discussion of current topics of import in our communities.
